AECOM was awarded a 2012 Third place Region XI and BC Chapter Award for City of Penticton Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant (AWWTP) Upgrade — Industrial Facilities Energy Use Category.
The facility represents an achievement in sustainable mechanical design, using 25-30% less energy, by employing a number of environmentally friendly solutions, including a Florida Heat Pump heat recovery unit, supplied by HVAC Systems and Solutions.
